Coupons let you offer discounts to encourage sales, reward loyal customers, or run promotions.
Creating a Coupon
Go to the Coupons tab on your market page and click Create Coupon.
Coupon Fields
Code
The code buyers enter at checkout (e.g., SAVE10, WELCOME20). Codes are case-insensitive.
Discount Type
- Percentage — a percentage off the order subtotal (e.g., 15% off)
- Fixed amount — a dollar amount off the order subtotal (e.g., $5 off)
Discount Value
The amount of the discount. For percentage type, enter a number between 1 and 100. For fixed amount, enter the dollar value.
Effective Dates
Set a start and end date for when the coupon is valid. Leave the end date empty for no expiration.
Usage Limit
Optionally limit how many times a coupon can be used in total. Once the limit is reached, the coupon is automatically deactivated.
Managing Coupons
From the Coupons tab you can:
- Toggle a coupon active or inactive
- Edit coupon details
- Delete coupons you no longer need
Buyers apply coupons on the cart page before checkout. The discount is shown in the order summary.
