When a buyer purchases from your market, you'll receive an order to fulfill. Here's how the order process works.
Order Notifications
You receive a notification whenever a new order is placed. The notification includes the buyer's name and links to your order inbox.
Order Inbox
Access your orders from the Orders tab on your market page. Orders are listed with the most recent first, showing order number, buyer name, total, and current status.
Order Status Flow
Each order moves through these stages:
- Paid — payment confirmed by Stripe. This is the starting state for new orders.
- Processing — you've acknowledged the order and are preparing it for shipment.
- Shipped — the order is on its way. Add a tracking number so the buyer can follow delivery.
- Delivered — the order has been received by the buyer.
Update the status from the order detail view. The buyer is notified at each status change.
Tracking Numbers
When you mark an order as "Shipped," you can enter a tracking number and carrier. This information is sent to the buyer so they can track their package.
Seller Notes
Add private notes to any order for your own records. These are only visible to you, not the buyer.
Digital Orders
For digital products, the order is automatically fulfilled at checkout. The buyer receives a secure download link immediately — no shipping required. Digital download links expire after 30 days.
