All over the US there are clubs, flying fields, hobbyist, kit builders that buy, build and fly Giant Scale Model Airplanes, so they just go out to the flying fields and watch poeple fly their giant scale model airplanes. When they have spotted those young talented model airplane pilots the Air Force walks up and starts talking to them, as in “Hey you fly that Giant Scale Model really well, how’d you like to fly a real giant scale model airplane for us”. That’s how my son got his job flying the Predator drone. I’m guessing that’s how the deep state enlisted Trumps shooter.
