• Ladies, I would like to share with you a very good book that I read about 15 years ago. It is by Dorie Van Stone and Erwin Lutzer, entitled "Dorie, The Girl Nobody Loved". It is the story of Dorie's childhood and the love and grace of the LORD Jesus Christ.

  • I encountered a lady recently who is angry with God about her life circumstances. Her marriage ended, her child is angry with her and has not spoken to her in six years, and she is hurting still from childhood traumas. She believes that God has promised her a life of ease, and she is angry because she believes God has not kept His promise.

Believers, would you pray for her with me? I shared the Gospel with her and told her that nowhere in the scriptures does God promise us a life of ease here on this earth. As a matter of fact, we actually deserve death, hell and the grave, but God has given us life through His Son. I also shared with her that God may be humbling her, and as long as she resists, the humbling will continue. She thanked me for my encouragement, told me that she didn't like what I was saying, but she also said she hopes that we meet again. I pray that happens.
