Colossians 3:21

Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.

Fathers, if you constantly criticize your children, yell at them all the time, never see any good in them and always focus on their mistakes, STOP IT! You are discouraging your child and it is affecting them deeply in ways that you do not realize. Your job is to guide them to do right, correct them when they do wrong, and love them in between. Be a good example to them by first letting them see you humble yourself before Almighty God. Second, let them see you being a kind, gentle and loving husband to their mother. Finally, let them see you make sacrifices for them so that they know they are important to you. These things are very important in the lives of children. Don't wait until it's too late to be a role model for your children.
