My heart is so burdened this morning. Another believer that I thought I could trust betrayed me and it has cut me deeply. Things like this usually don't bother me that much, but I expected so much more from this person and now here I am. I have not addressed it with this person and I don't know that I will, but I am asking the LORD to deal with my heart. I want to forgive them completely and maintain our friendship. I don't want the root of bitterness to grow in my heart. I don't want my prayers hindered. I don't want the ministry that I am a part of to be affected.
