The question was asked if it is okay to discuss the assassination of Charlie Kirk in the pulpit this Sunday morning. My thought is that Sunday morning service is a great opportunity for pastors to do what they are called to do: preach the Gospel. If an event in our lives happens to cross paths with scripture, so be it. But there's no need to chase news articles in order to write a sermon.

One of the problems with this generation is that they put everything that they do or think or social media. How is that working out???
