The reactions from both Democrats and Republicans in the wake of November 5 further reveals something I’ve said for a long time - most Americans have little, if any, knowledge or understanding of the Constitution. Working in tech as I do, a common phrase when you want to know how something works is RTFM - Read the F^@#!*$ Manual. It’s time for all Americans to do just that. Don’t worry, it’s a lot shorter and easier to read than the end-user agreement for your new iPhone or your Windows upgrade (unlike , it’s written in plain English).

I think it’s time for us all to go back to school and get some proper civics education.

Regardless of which candidate you favored, can we be, as Harris repeatedly postulated, "unburdened by what has been"?

This is the sum of good government, and this is necessary to close the circlue of our felicities.” Those in office today seem to have missed the memo.

OPEN.SUBSTACK.COMIs republicanism a threat to Our Democracy™?Or is democracy a threat to our republic? - We often hear cries at election time for the dissolution of the electoral college, because "a candidate shouldn't be able to win the popular vote but still lose the election." On the contrary, that was the explicit reason for the electoral college. The President isn't supposed to be elected based on a strict majority vote. Let me explain...
