There are spots that the paint has came off. There is also a bracket on the underneath side to where it can be bolted down. You don't want the Spider to get loose! But this is the only one that I'd want, none of the live ones! There are nails for legs, but I don't know what the other parts are made of. It is heavy, again I have no scales for weighing. I'd guess it to be around 5-8 pounds or about. This and many more items like this, was made by my Dad (Irving Bale). They have been boxed away for many years now, there are some with paint gone, whiskers gone, etc., or Dad just made them that way, he was a jokester at times!
