This is a rant that I posted because of some things that happened on two other social media sites. This does not apply to Cre8aplace. I am happy to say that this has become my safe space, where our little community uplifts each other and does not do nor condone things that would be hurtful to others. (By the way, my feelings are not easily hurt, but sometimes I just get tired of nonsense.) I just thought I would share it with you guys so that you could give me your input, if you have any. Maybe it's just me, but I am so tired of the back and forth, bickering and arguing, I'm-right-and-you're-wrong, I-know-more-than-you on social media.
I remember when I first came to social media in 2017, I enjoyed posting and commenting alongside people who thought like me. I stayed away from people who didn't think like me, and they obviously stayed away from me.
Nowadays, it is so in your face that it's simply tiring. I love sharing the Gospel online and learning from those who are way more intelligent, but all the rest of the stuff wears me down. I recently left two platforms for that very reason, and I am contemplating leaving a third.
As for the world (unbelievers), I don't expect much more from them. The world does what it does. But I expect better from the saints. Come on guys...those of us who know the Word, but come online to be argumentative just need to stop. You are not exhibiting the fruit of the Spirit, nor are you glorifying your Father! Just stop it.
