Ecclesiastes 7:14 (Legacy Standard Bible)
In the day when there is good be of good cheer,
But in the day when there is evil see—
God has made the one as well as the other
So that man will not find out anything that will be after him.
Mature believer, stop blaming the devil for everything that doesn't go perfectly in your life. Every time you have a problem, it is not the devil. Sometimes, it is God humbling you. Sometimes, God is refining you. Sometimes, things just happen.
We give the devil too much power. He is not omnipresent like God; he can't be everywhere all at the same time. And by the way, if he is roaming around on the earth causing trouble, what makes you think that he would take the time to stop at your house? Are you so important that he would give up the opportunity to cause problems in government to come to your house and attack you?
Good things happen to everyone. Bad things happen to everyone. Just because something negative happens in your life does not mean that the devil is attacking you. Don't give the devil that much credit. Trust God with the good and the bad in your life.
