There are two burdens in my heart this morning: one is for me personally, and the other is for the church. Seeing how the church is moving away from being Bible-centered disturbs me. While the fellowship of the saints is good, everything that we do in church should not be focused on our own pleasure. The church needs to sit down and submit herself to the teaching, preaching and studying of God's Word, coupled with dedicated time to prayer, and, dare I say, fasting.
