FROM 150 MILES - Last Week from 150 miles away in Santa Barbara the Palisades fire was still burning un-contained and I could see the smoke rising, but not just rising a few thousand feet but what look like “tens” of thousands of feet. The rising column of smoke , and I’m guessing 30K to 40K feet. One week later, historic weather in the south with snow storms not seen in 10 decades. For years we’ve smogged our cars, closed factories, and regulated pollution and the weather has gotten dryer and hotter. Smoke from the fires must have done something to change the climate. Cleaning up the environment affects weather patterns as fires polluting the atmosphere change the environment
