Under the Moon of Her Heart

In shades of blue, where silence sings,
A mother folds the world in wings.
Her child sleeps close, the stars align—
Two spirits bound in breath divine.

The moon behind, a sacred flame,
Recalls the place from which they came.
The blanket hums in a woven tone,
Of prayers the ancestors have sewn.

Her braid—a river, calm and deep,
Carries songs the elders keep.
And in her arms, the earth is whole—
A sacred drum, a beating soul.
