The Laken Riley Act, if passed in its present form, may not be as sufficient and as effective as it has been made out to be. I’ve not heard anything about the Laken Rily Act since the publication of this piece, but I hope and pray that before passage, it was revised in such a way so as to be made more sufficiently effective than before and not in such a watered-down sugar coated state.
