Jude 3-4
Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only LORD God, and our LORD Jesus Christ.

Every believer should take Jude's advice to heart: we must contend for the faith on a daily basis with a passion and fervor that shows the world that we mean business. The church has dropped the ball when it comes to standing for truth, which opened the door for the enemy to come in and try to change the Gospel of Jesus Christ into something that it is not. We must not stay silent. We must not only share the Gospel, but we must fight for the truth. We cannot allow ungodly false teachers to continue to gain traction and influence the next generation to believe the lies that they spread. We cannot continue to settle for a watered down Gospel that does not require repentance from sin or a holy lifestyle. We must earnestly contend for the faith.

I am as guilty as any of not doing all that I can to influence others for the Gospel. I am guilty, in the past, of being under the influence of questionable teachers and being part of certain movements that I have since learned were erroneous in their doctrine. My grandma used to say, "When you learn better, you do better..." When we learn the truth, we have to contend for it.
