Sent another email to our commie-crat governor Cooper in NC after learning that DSS agencies are removing children from their parents who lost their homes during Helene and are now homeless. Instead of helping these families find some kind of housing to keep them together, he is having the children removed. During such a traumatic time when these people have lost everything and now their children are being removed and placed into foster homes. The time and hoops that a parent has to jump through to get their children back are horrendous. I've worked in the foster care system for 34 years. I know what it takes.
