If accepted, they send you to Quantico, VA for training and when finished they assign you to one of the many US Embassies we have around the world. Now that you know that in addition to protecting the Embassy and staff they can and are called on to protect the president, they draw from Marine staff around the world, flown in to where the President has special events, the are given more instruction, radios and other important equipment and help protect the President. They could have drawn on those staff to protect Trump and I guarantee those Marines won’t fail. There was no excuse for short staff. How do I know this; because my son was a marine in that program called on three times with other marines to protect President Barack Hussein Obama and nobody took a shot at him, that bastard president is still alive un-scratched.
