There are innumerable examples today of the impact of sin on the human condition, particularly on the human mind. But I'd be hard-pressed to find a more glaring example than of those who insist on denying the objective fact that men and women are not the same.

This has been a universally accepted fact of humanity since the Garden of Eden (Genesis 1:27). Regardless of cultural or language differences and nuances, mankind, for thousands of years, has consistently acknowledged that there are only two sexes - male and female - and that they are biologically immutable.

And then along came wokeness.

Wokeness, a worldview which, purportedly, sprung up from the minds of men and women who once promenaded the halls of some of the world's most elite academic institutions, has proven to be anything but academic. In fact, wokeness is nothing short of insanity.

To be woke is to live a lie. It is to live in complete denial of reality (which essentially is what a lie is - a denial of reality). When a worldview, philosophy, or ideology requires the willful ignorance of the most fundamental reality known to humanity - that men aren't women and, conversely, women aren't men - you know that it is wholly undeserving of any truly serious discourse or interaction.

In his autobiography Up From Slavery, the educator, abolitionist, and former slave, Booker Taliaferro Washington, said, "I have great faith in the power and influence of facts." Conversely, economist and author Thomas Sowell, a former Marxist, when asked in an interview what ultimately changed his mind about Marxism, replied, "Facts."

Facts, and another way of saying facts is truth, is the Achilles heel of wokeness. That is why wokeness is so dangerous to society, because it doesn't deal in truth.

Notwithstanding its fatuous and asinine views of male and female gender distinctions, because in wokeness there are no such distinctions, wokeness invites you to commit a kind of adultery of the mind by convincing you that what you know to be objectively true actually isn't.

Wearing lipstick doesn't make a man a woman any more than having "top surgery" makes a woman a man. But wokeness says otherwise. Wokeness would have you believe that water isn't wet, that fire isn't hot, and that men - while not acknowledging that there is such a thing as 'men' - can get pregnant.

Ecclesiastes 9:3 (NASB) says, "The hearts of the sons of men are full of evil and insanity is in their hearts throughout their lives." The insanity of wokeness, and that's fundamentally what wokeness is, insanity, must be rejected in all its forms and fashions. But not only that, wokeness must be destroyed, and the only way to destroy it is with truth - and unwaveringly so. ~ Darrell B. Harrison
