Todd Starnes on Gab: 'DEVELOPING STORY: The Republican Party platform committee is meeting in Milwaukee and Christian Conservatives are very alarmed. GOP leadership wants to remove the human life amendment. There are also plans to soften language about the family and religious liberty. Party leadership is gambling that evangelical voters will still vote Republican even if the platform resembles the DNC's platform. One evangelical leader on the platform committee was literally told, "where else will your people go?" We already know the answer to that question. They will stay home. McCain and Romney did the same thing and look what happened. The Republican Party is playing with fire. This is an absolutely unnecessary fight. But party leadership believes if we remove the culture war language from the platform that independents and others will join the GOP. On a side note - all media has been banned from tomorrow's platform committee vote. For the first time in history it will not be broadcast on C-SPAN. Members have been told they must surrender their cell phones before entering the room and all copies of the proposed platform will not be allowed to leave the room. Again, the Republican Party leadership is playing with fire.'
