• We must follow our Redeemer, Who purchased us as His own possession. We are not true to our profession of being Christians if we question the commands of our LORD. Submission is our duty; complaints are our shame.

  • If you are not reading your Bible, you are not hearing from God.

If you not spending time in prayer, God is not hearing from you.

  • Psalm 8:2
Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast Thou ordained strength because of Thine enemies, that Thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

God cares for even the tiniest of creatures, such as the newborn baby. His glory is revealed at the birth of a child; what a miraculous thing it is to walk through the gestation period and then to see the end result! Every person who is reading these words was, at one point, that helpless baby that came into this world through no power of your own. Each of us owes God a debt of thanks. Our existence is enough to close the mouths of His enemies, who say things like "there is no God". God allows even those who choose not to place faith in Him to enjoy common graces; and one of those graces is the ability and the opportunity to bear and raise children. God protects the unbeliever's child coming into the world the same way He does the believer.

If you have not placed your faith in Him, today is a good day to do so. He could return at any moment, and take His people out of the earth. He is going to come, and when He does, you do not want to be left behind. You want to go with Him, because the suffering that will take place in this world once all the believers are gone is something that you do not want to experience. Or He could just require your soul, at any moment, because the next second is not promised to you. Only God knows the number of our days. Your time could be up in an instant. Before that happens, place your faith in Him. Acknowledge that you need a Savior, believe that Jesus is that Savior, confess your sins to Him, and submit your life to Him. Obey His Word as you read it daily. Pray to Him for the power to live holy. Join a Bible teaching, Christ centered church. Fellowship there often. Spend time with Godly men and women who care about your eternal soul. Jesus loves you, which is why He came to this earth to die for you. Won't you live for Him?
