Red Copper on Gab: 'Modern mechanized farming requires much less manual labor. This is why I laugh as Democrats exclaim with panic "but who will pick our vegetables if we deport illegals". First of all, that's the same argument the dems had about ending slavery. Second, the dems with their love of everything high tech & AI have been claiming for years that most jobs will no longer require humans in the near future. Somehow we're supposed to believe that farming will be still be done with ancient manual labor practices.'
