Isaiah 53:3
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from Him; He was despised, and we esteemed Him not.
Jesus was despised by His own people when He came to the world. He was rejected by those He came to save. He was called all kinds of names: blasphemer, demoniac, liar...even though He is the Way, the Truth and the Life!...
