  • When Moses and Israel emerged safely from the Red Sea, having traveled through it on dry land, and having seen the Egyptians consumed by the sea returning to its place over that dry land, that sang a song to the Lord. That sang of His glory. They sang of His power. They sang of His salvation. They sang of who God is and what He does.

When we gather, we are encouraged by Scripture to do likewise. We are instructed to speak to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs (Eph. 5:19). We are told that by these psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs we should be teaching and admonishing one another (Col. 3:16). We are exhorted to sing with thankfulness in our hearts to God (Eph. 5:20, Col. 3:16).

Too many sing shallow, self-centered song supposing it to be “worship,” and much of it is often at odds with Scripture. This should never be!

Our songs should be deep, rich in their content, full of praise and wonder, focused on and directed toward our God and Father who loves us and watches over us.

This is how Israel sang upon their Exodus from Egypt. This is the manner in which David authored the Psalms he wrote. As David exclaims, “I will sing praises to You” (Ps. 138:`), and that the kings of the earth would “sing of the ways of the Lord” (Psalm. 138:5).

Are you singing of the ways of the Lord? Do you give thanks and praise Him with your voice, making a joyful noise to God (Ps. 66:1, 98:4)?

Let us sing to Him always, as did Moses and Israel, as did David, remembering, as the hymnist wrote (based on Lam. 3:22-23):

    Great is thy faithfulness,
    Great is thy faithfulness,
Morning by morning new mercies I see.
    All I have needed thy hand hast provided;
    Great is thy faithfulness,
    Lord unto me.

    Morning, February 1

"They shall sing in the ways of the Lord." Psalm 138:5

The time when Christians begin to sing in the ways of the Lord is when they first lose their burden at the foot of the Cross. Not even the songs of the angels seem so sweet as the first song of rapture which gushes from the inmost soul of the forgiven child of God. You know how John Bunyan describes it. He says when poor Pilgrim lost his burden at the Cross, he gave three great leaps, and went on his way singing:

"Blest Cross! blest Sepulchre! blest rather be
The Man that there was put to shame for me!"

Believer, do you recollect the day when your fetters fell off? Do you remember the place when Jesus met you, and said, "I have loved thee with an everlasting love; I have blotted out as a cloud thy transgressions, and as a thick cloud thy sins; they shall not be mentioned against thee any more for ever." Oh! what a sweet season is that when Jesus takes away the pain of sin. When the Lord first pardoned my sin, I was so joyous that I could scarce refrain from dancing. I thought on my road home from the house where I had been set at liberty, that I must tell the stones in the street the story of my deliverance. So full was my soul of joy, that I wanted to tell every snow-flake that was falling from heaven of the wondrous love of Jesus, who had blotted out the sins of one of the chief of rebels. But it is not only at the commencement of the Christian life that believers have reason for song; as long as they live they discover cause to sing in the ways of the Lord, and their experience of His constant lovingkindness leads them to say, "I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth." See to it, brother, that thou magnifiest the Lord this day.

"Long as we tread this desert land,
New mercies shall new songs demand."

  • Jeremiah
    Chapter 34

1 The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and all his army, and all the kingdoms of the earth of his dominion, and all the people, fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities thereof, saying,

2 Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Go and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire:

3 And thou shalt not escape out of his hand, but shalt surely be taken, and delivered into his hand; and thine eyes shall behold the eyes of the king of Babylon, and he shall speak with thee mouth to mouth, and thou shalt go to Babylon.

4 Yet hear the word of the LORD, O Zedekiah king of Judah; Thus saith the LORD of thee, Thou shalt not die by the sword:

5 But thou shalt die in peace: and with the burnings of thy fathers, the former kings which were before thee, so shall they burn odours for thee; and they will lament thee, saying, Ah lord! for I have pronounced the word, saith the LORD.

6 Then Jeremiah the prophet spake all these words unto Zedekiah king of Judah in Jerusalem,

7 When the king of Babylon's army fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities of Judah that were left, against Lachish, and against Azekah: for these defenced cities remained of the cities of Judah.

    8 This is the word that came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, after that the king Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people which were at Jerusalem, to proclaim liberty unto them;

9 That every man should let his manservant, and every man his maidservant, being an Hebrew or an Hebrewess, go free; that none should serve himself of them, to wit, of a Jew his brother.

10 Now when all the princes, and all the people, which had entered into the covenant, heard that every one should let his manservant, and every one his maidservant, go free, that none should serve themselves of them any more, then they obeyed, and let them go.

11 But afterward they turned, and caused the servants and the handmaids, whom they had let go free, to return, and brought them into subjection for servants and for handmaids.

12 Therefore the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,

13 Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondmen, saying,

14 At the end of seven years let ye go every man his brother an Hebrew, which hath been sold unto thee; and when he hath served thee six years, thou shalt let him go free from thee: but your fathers hearkened not unto me, neither inclined their ear.

15 And ye were now turned, and had done right in my sight, in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbour; and ye had made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name:

16 But ye turned and polluted my name, and caused every man his servant, and every man his handmaid, whom ye had set at liberty at their pleasure, to return, and brought them into subjection, to be unto you for servants and for handmaids.

17 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Ye have not hearkened unto me, in proclaiming liberty, every one to his brother, and every man to his neighbour: behold, I proclaim a liberty for you, saith the LORD, to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine; and I will make you to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.

18 And I will give the men that have transgressed my covenant, which have not performed the words of the covenant which they had made before me, when they cut the calf in twain, and passed between the parts thereof,

    19 The princes of Judah, and the princes of Jerusalem, the eunuchs, and the priests, and all the people of the land, which passed between the parts of the calf;

20 I will even give them into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life: and their dead bodies shall be for meat unto the fowls of the heaven, and to the beasts of the earth.

21 And Zedekiah king of Judah and his princes will I give into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life, and into the hand of the king of Babylon's army, which are gone up from you.

22 Behold, I will command, saith the LORD, and cause them to return to this city; and they shall fight against it, and take it, and burn it with fire: and I will make the cities of Judah a desolation without an inhabitant.
Jeremiah Chapter 34 1 The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and all his army, and all the kingdoms of the earth of his dominion, and all the people, fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities thereof, saying, 2 Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Go and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire: 3 And thou shalt not escape out of his hand, but shalt surely be taken, and delivered into his hand; and thine eyes shall behold the eyes of the king of Babylon, and he shall speak with thee mouth to mouth, and thou shalt go to Babylon. 4 Yet hear the word of the LORD, O Zedekiah king of Judah; Thus saith the LORD of thee, Thou shalt not die by the sword: 5 But thou shalt die in peace: and with the burnings of thy fathers, the former kings which were before thee, so shall they burn odours for thee; and they will lament thee, saying, Ah lord! for I have pronounced the word, saith the LORD. 6 Then Jeremiah the prophet spake all these words unto Zedekiah king of Judah in Jerusalem, 7 When the king of Babylon's army fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities of Judah that were left, against Lachish, and against Azekah: for these defenced cities remained of the cities of Judah. 8 This is the word that came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, after that the king Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people which were at Jerusalem, to proclaim liberty unto them; 9 That every man should let his manservant, and every man his maidservant, being an Hebrew or an Hebrewess, go free; that none should serve himself of them, to wit, of a Jew his brother. 12 Therefore the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, 13 Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondmen, saying, 14 At the end of seven years let ye go every man his brother an Hebrew, which hath been sold unto thee; and when he hath served thee six years, thou shalt let him go free from thee: but your fathers hearkened not unto me, neither inclined their ear. 15 And ye were now turned, and had done right in my sight, in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbour; and ye had made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name: 16 But ye turned and polluted my name, and caused every man his servant, and every man his handmaid, whom ye had set at liberty at their pleasure, to return, and brought them into subjection, to be unto you for servants and for handmaids. 18 And I will give the men that have transgressed my covenant, which have not performed the words of the covenant which they had made before me, when they cut the calf in twain, and passed between the parts thereof, 19 The princes of Judah, and the princes of Jerusalem, the eunuchs, and the priests, and all the people of the land, which passed between the parts of the calf; 20 I will even give them into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life: and their dead bodies shall be for meat unto the fowls of the heaven, and to the beasts of the earth.

  • Isaiah
    Chapter 61

    1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

    2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.

5 And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.

6 But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.

7 For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.

8 For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.

9 And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed.

10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

11 For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

This should be considered treason against the People, with the penalties applied in full!

"The American legal code has become a weapon aimed at you. Not criminals. Not foreign threats. You. The average citizen who wakes up, goes to work, raises a family, and tries to live right. You commit three felonies daily without knowing it. That’s not opinion. That’s the reality of a system re-designed to make everyone guilty of something.

This matters because probable cause — the constitutional threshold for government intrusion into your life — becomes meaningless when everything is illegal. When any interaction with authority can uncover violations you didn’t know existed, your rights exist only at the discretion of those who enforce the laws. That’s not liberty. That’s a leash with variable length.

The time has come for Americans to recognize this system for what it is: unconstitutional overreach masquerading as public safety. And the time has come to resist it through every legitimate means available.
    The Numbers Don’t Lie

Consider the scale of the problem. The federal criminal code contains over 4,500 crimes. Nobody knows the exact count. When the Department of Justice attempted a comprehensive tally in 1982, researchers abandoned the project after two years of futility. Since then, Congress has averaged 56 new crimes annually. Add the 300,000-plus federal regulations carrying criminal penalties, and you’re swimming in a sea of potential violations.

State codes multiply the madness. California’s penal code exceeds 5,000 pages. Texas scatters 1,700 criminal offenses across 27 different codes. Every legislative session births new crimes. County ordinances, city regulations, HOA rules backed by legal force, special district codes — the layers never end.

This isn’t governance. It’s entrapment by design. And you need to understand why."

The American Legal Trap: Why Constitutional Citizens Must Say "No"
On every question of construction [of the Constitution] let us carry ourselves back to the time when the Constitution was adopted, recollect the spirit manifested in the debates, and instead of trying what meaning may be squeezed out of the text, or intended against it, conform to the probable one in which it was passed.

"A citizen in a constitutional republic enjoys liberty when government protects rights through established law. Once that government begins surveillance, censorship, or coercion justified by safety concerns, both liberty and independence erode. The surveillance state does not announce its arrival as tyranny. It arrives through incremental expansion and manufactured consent.

A country achieving separation from an empire wins independence. Whether that country secures liberty depends entirely on whether it restrains its own rulers afterward. Most post-colonial states discovered this difficult truth: removing foreign chains means nothing if domestic tyrants fill the vacuum. The declaration of independence marks only a beginning. Building institutions that preserve liberty against domestic power concentration constitutes the actual work." !

  • Brethren, it is human nature to desire honor. We wish to be first, to be important, to sit at the head of the table. Yet Christ tells us, “When you are invited…sit at the last place” (Lk. 14:8-10). Then the one who invited you will have opportunity to say, “Friend, move up higher” (Lk. 14:10).

This is a lesson in humility. Many times over Scripture exhorts us to be humble; for Christ showed the ultimate humility in laying aside His glory in taking on flesh to sacrifice Himself for us. So we are instructed, “Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others” (Phil. 2:3-4).

We are admonished, “God is opposed to the proud but gives grace to the humble” (Jas. 4:6). We are encouraged, young and old alike, to clothe ourselves with humility toward one another (1 Pet. 5:5). And most importantly, we are commanded to humble ourselves before God and, like the one making invitation in Luke, He will exalt us at the proper time (Jas. 4:10; 1 Pet. 5:6).

Dear Christian, do not allow pride to bring you down. Instead, humble yourself, and God will give you wisdom and honor (Pr. 11:2, 29:23).

    Spurgeon’s Morning and Evening Devotions

    Morning, December 23

"Friend, go up higher." Luke 14:10

When first the life of grace begins in the soul, we do indeed draw near to God, but it is with great fear and trembling. The soul conscious of guilt, and humbled thereby, is overawed with the solemnity of its position; it is cast to the earth by a sense of the grandeur of Jehovah, in whose presence it stands. With unfeigned bashfulness it takes the lowest room.

But, in after life, as the Christian grows in grace, although he will never forget the solemnity of his position, and will never lose that holy awe which must encompass a gracious man when he is in the presence of the God who can create or can destroy; yet his fear has all its terror taken out of it; it becomes a holy reverence, and no more an overshadowing dread. He is called up higher, to greater access to God in Christ Jesus. Then the man of God, walking amid the splendours of Deity, and veiling his face like the glorious cherubim, with those twin wings, the blood and righteousness of Jesus Christ, will, reverent and bowed in spirit, approach the throne; and seeing there a God of love, of goodness, and of mercy, he will realize rather the covenant character of God than His absolute Deity. He will see in God rather His goodness than His greatness, and more of His love than of His majesty. Then will the soul, bowing still as humbly as aforetime, enjoy a more sacred liberty of intercession; for while prostrate before the glory of the Infinite God, it will be sustained by the refreshing consciousness of being in the presence of boundless mercy and infinite love, and by the realization of acceptance "in the Beloved." Thus the believer is bidden to come up higher, and is enabled to exercise the privilege of rejoicing in God, and drawing near to Him in holy confidence, saying, "Abba, Father."

So may we go from strength to strength,
    And daily grow in grace,
Till in Thine image raised at length,
We see Thee face to face.

Here is the complete 2025 playbook that an average person (or a high-school kid from Kentucky) actually has when a mega-corporation, media conglomerate, or billionaire-funded NGO defames, deplatforms, or destroys their life.

These tools have all been used successfully in the last five years. Most are cheap or free if you know where to look.
    1. Defamation Lawsuits (SLAPPs and Anti-SLAPP)

Regular defamation/libel/slander suit (Covington Catholic kids got $275 million total in settlements from CNN, WaPo, NBC, etc.)

Anti-SLAPP motion (in 33 states + D.C.): if they try to SLAPP you with a frivolous countersuit, you can force them to pay your legal fees early.

Texas Citizens Participation Act, California Anti-SLAPP, Florida’s new 2023 law — all very plaintiff-friendly now.

Pro bono or contingency firms that hate corporate media and will take your case for free if it’s strong:

    Clare Locke LLP (Sandmann’s firm)

    Dhillon Law Group

America First Legal (Stephen Miller’s group)

    Liberty Justice Center

    Southeastern Legal Foundation

    2. Pre-Litigation Demand Letters (the “Legal Notice”)

A $5,000–$15,000 letter from a reputable firm often triggers seven-figure settlements because corporations fear discovery.

Nick Sandmann’s team sent ~50 demand letters; most settled before filing.

    3. Section 230 Work-Arounds (Big Tech Specific)

Platforms are immune for third-party content, but NOT immune for their own editorial statements (“Community Notes,” shadowban notices, “fact-check” labels). Sue for the label itself (Dominion v. Fox, Smartmatic cases).

    State-level laws bypassing 230: Texas HB20 (2022), Florida SB7072 (2021) — upheld in parts by 11th Circuit 2024.

File in state court under deceptive trade practices or consumer-protection statutes (Missouri v. Biden precedent helps).

    4. RICO / Civil Conspiracy Claims

When multiple media outlets + NGOs + advertisers coordinate to destroy you (GDI, NewsGuard, CCDH, Sleeping Giants boycott campaigns), you can sue the entire network under civil RICO or conspiracy.

Missouri v. Biden (2023–2025) proved coordination between government + media + NGOs = discovery goldmine.

    5. Small-Claims or State Court “Private Nuisance” / IIED Suits

File in small-claims court for the $10k–$25k limit — no lawyers allowed, so CNN has to send a $1,500/hr partner to rural Kentucky to defend a tweet.

Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress (IIED) has no cap in most states and is harder to dismiss.

    6. Economic & Reputational Tools (Non-Legal but Brutal)

Counter-boycott: publicize the advertisers and use apps like Goods Unite Us or 2ndVote to organize mass cancellation of their sponsors.

Public records requests (FOIA/MO Sunshine) on any government official who amplified the defamation.

Government or Public Officials also carry Public Official Bonds. It maybe easier to go after and file against the bond or you can use that in the process of getting litigation off the ground.

Crowdfund your legal fees (GiveSendGo, Fundly, Christian crowdfunding sites raised $3M+ for Sandmann, Rittenhouse, Gibson’s Bakery).

    7. Diplomatic / Public Pressure Tools

File ICCPR complaints with the UN Human Rights Committee (U.S. signed it; media censorship violates Article 19).

EU citizens: file GDPR “right to be forgotten” + defamation actions in Ireland/UK against U.S. media.

Get your Congressman or state AG to open a consumer-protection or civil-rights investigation (Missouri AG got $400M+ in settlements that way).

    8. Insurance Coverage Hacks

Most homeowners/renters policies cover “personal injury” (including defamation). File a claim — the insurance company suddenly has a financial incentive to sue on your behalf.

    9. New 2024–2025 Weapons

Eight states now have “Media Accountability Acts” (modeled on Texas) that strip 230 protection from outlets that act as publishers.

Trump’s January 2025 executive order created a federal “Defamation Victims Task Force” inside DOJ — average citizens can submit cases for possible intervention.

Bottom line: the Covington kids proved the playbook works.

You do NOT need to be rich.

You can do this yourself if you want to take the time to learn how or you can find a lawyer or attorney who hates the media more than he loves money, a viral clip of the lie, and the willingness to fight for 18–36 months.

    The tools are there.

    The precedent is set.

The corporations are now terrified the next target won’t be a broke teenager — it’ll be them writing eight-figure checks.

    Use them.

This Day in History: Revolutionary War Thanksgivings
At about this time in 1941, the fourth Thursday in November officially becomes a national holiday. You may know about modern Thanksgiving Day celebrations, but did you know that thanksgiving also played an important role in the American Revolution? Indeed, as Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Army, George Washington fully supported public displays of gratitude as a vital part of a well-functioning army. The events of October 1777 were a case in point. Americans won an important victory at Sa

  • Aside from His predetermined primary purpose of giving Himself a ransom for many (Mk. 10:45), Jesus many times over stated His reason for coming was to preach (Mk. 1:38; Lk. 4:18, 43). Preaching the kingdom was Jesus focus prior to His sacrifice.

As He quoted of OT prophecy regarding Himself, “And the book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to Him. And He opened the book and found the place where it was written, ‘The spirit of the lord is upon me, because he anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed, to proclaim the favorable year of the lord.’
And He closed the book, gave it back to the attendant and sat down; and the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on Him. And He began to say to them, ‘Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing’” (Lk. 4:17-21).

There is much in those few verses, one bit of which stands out. You may ask, in what way were captives released? Oh, praise be to God for Jesus coming! He taught elsewhere, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” (Jn. 8:31-32). Free from what? To what are (or were) we captive? Jesus clarifies: ““Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son does remain forever. So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed” (Jn. 8:34-36).

Prior to salvation, all men are slaves to sin. But Jesus, who Himself is “the Truth” (Jn. 14:6), set us free from that enslavement. No longer are we slaves to sin, but now are, as Paul explains, “having been freed from sin, you became slaves of righteousness” (Rom. 6:18). Therefore, as Paul exhorts, “just as you presented your members as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness, resulting in further lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness, resulting in sanctification” (Rom. 6:19). This is echoed in Rom. 12:1 and 2, where Paul penned “I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”

Let us therefore, as Paul urges, present ourselves no longer to sin for it to be our master, since we have been set free. No, let us present our bodies a living and holy sacrifice to God, that He may be glorified through us and that Christ may live through us (Gal. 2:20).

    Spurgeon’s Morning and Evening Devotions

    Morning, November 25

"To preach deliverance to the captives." Luke 4.18

None but Jesus can give deliverance to captives. Real liberty cometh from Him only. It is a liberty righteously bestowed"; for the Son, who is Heir of all things, has a right to make men free. The saints honour the justice of God, which now secures their salvation. It is a liberty which has been dearly purchased. Christ speaks it by His power, but He bought it by His blood. He makes thee free, but it is by His own bonds. Thou goest clear, because He bare thy burden for thee: thou art set at liberty, because He has suffered in thy stead. But, though dearly purchased, He freely gives it. Jesus asks nothing of us as a preparation for this liberty. He finds us sitting in sackcloth and ashes, and bids us put on the beautiful array of freedom; He saves us just as we are, and all without our help or merit. When Jesus sets free, the liberty is perpetually entailed"; no chains can bind again. Let the Master say to me, "Captive, I have delivered thee," and it is done for ever. Satan may plot to enslave us, but if the Lord be on our side, whom shall we fear? The world, with its temptations, may seek to ensnare us, but mightier is He who is for us than all they who be against us. The machinations of our own deceitful hearts may harass and annoy us, but He who hath begun the good work in us will carry it on and perfect it to the end. The foes of God and the enemies of man may gather their hosts together, and come with concentrated fury against us, but if God acquitteth, who is he that condemneth? Not more free is the eagle which mounts to his rocky eyrie, and afterwards outsoars the clouds, than the soul which Christ hath delivered. If we are no more under the law, but free from its curse, let our liberty be practically exhibited in our serving God with gratitude and delight. "I am Thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: Thou hast loosed my bonds." "Lord, what wilt Thou have me to do?"
