• Brethren, our God is not a distant God. He did not create the universe, set it in motion, then step back to watch how things work out. Our God is intimately involved in His creation, so much so that He sent His only begotten Son to partake of that which He created, taking the form of man, and dying on a cross for our justification.

He set the times and places for where we would live (Acts 17:26). He knows the number of hairs on your head (Mt. 10:30). Through His Son we can draw near (Heb. 7:25).

It should not be surprising then that He keeps watch over us (Prov. 24:12). At times, this may be uncomfortable. It may entail discipline (Heb. 12:11). At times, it should bring us peace.

Regardless the circumstance, we should be thankful. When He hems us in, it is not because He doesn’t want us happy - it is for our benefit. Just as parents sets boundaries for their children, so God sets boundaries for us.

Our Lord knows we face temptation, as He faced temptation Himself (Heb. 2:18). God warned Cain that sin lies in wait, seeking opportunity in us (Gen. 4:7). And He knows the flesh is weak (Mt. 26:41), a problem with which even Paul struggled (Rom. 7:14-25; 8:3). Thus for our protection, for our sanctification, God watches over us.

Let us then not question, but accept with joy, the trials through which we travel on our road to spiritual maturity; for in the end, our faith will be strengthened, and we will be “perfect and complete, lacking in nothing” (Jas. 1:2-4).

"Am I a sea, or a whale, that Thou settest a watch over me?" Job 7:12

This was a strange question for Job to ask of the Lord. He felt himself to be too insignificant to be so strictly watched and chastened, and he hoped that he was not so unruly as to need to be so restrained. The enquiry was natural from one surrounded with such insupportable miseries, but after all, it is capable of a very humbling answer. It is true man is not the sea, but he is even more troublesome and unruly. The sea obediently respects its boundary, and though it be but a belt of sand, it does not overleap the limit. Mighty as it is, it hears the divine hitherto, and when most raging with tempest it respects the word; but self-willed man defies heaven and oppresses earth, neither is there any end to this rebellious rage. The sea, obedient to the moon, ebbs and flows with ceaseless regularity, and thus renders an active as well as a passive obedience; but man, restless beyond his sphere, sleeps within the lines of duty, indolent where he should be active. He will neither come nor go at the divine command, but sullenly prefers to do what he should not, and to leave undone that which is required of him. Every drop in the ocean, every beaded bubble, and every yeasty foam-flake, every shell and pebble, feel the power of law, and yield or move at once. O that our nature were but one thousandth part as much conformed to the will of God! We call the sea fickle and false, but how constant it is! Since our fathers' days, and the old time before them, the sea is where it was, beating on the same cliffs to the same tune; we know where to find it, it forsakes not its bed, and changes not in its ceaseless boom; but where is man-vain, fickle man? Can the wise man guess by what folly he will next be seduced from his obedience? We need more watching than the billowy sea, and are far more rebellious. Lord, rule us for Thine own glory. Amen.

"Thou crownest the year with Thy goodness." Psalm 65:11

All the year round, every hour of every day, God is richly blessing us; both when we sleep and when we wake His mercy waits upon us. The sun may leave us a legacy of darkness, but our God never ceases to shine upon His children with beams of love. Like a river, His lovingkindness is always flowing, with a fulness inexhaustible as His own nature. Like the atmosphere which constantly surrounds the earth, and is always ready to support the life of man, the benevolence of God surrounds all His creatures; in it, as in their element, they live, and move, and have their being. Yet as the sun on summer days gladdens us with beams more warm and bright than at other times, and as rivers are at certain seasons swollen by the rain, and as the atmosphere itself is sometimes fraught with more fresh, more bracing, or more balmy influences than heretofore, so is it with the mercy of God; it hath its golden hours; its days of overflow, when the Lord magnifieth His grace before the sons of men. Amongst the blessings of the nether springs, the joyous days of harvest are a special season of excessive favour. It is the glory of autumn that the ripe gifts of providence are then abundantly bestowed; it is the mellow season of realization, whereas all before was but hope and expectation. Great is the joy of harvest. Happy are the reapers who fill their arms with the liberality of heaven. The Psalmist tells us that the harvest is the crowning of the year. Surely these crowning mercies call for crowning thanksgiving! Let us render it by the inward emotions of gratitude. Let our hearts be warmed; let our spirits remember, meditate, and think upon this goodness of the Lord. Then let us praise Him with our lips, and laud and magnify His name from whose bounty all this goodness flows. Let us glorify God by yielding our gifts to His cause. A practical proof of our gratitude is a special thank-offering to the Lord of the harvest.

"Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path." Joel 2:8

Locusts always keep their rank, and although their number is legion, they do not crowd upon each other, so as to throw their columns into confusion. This remarkable fact in natural history shows how thoroughly the a Lord has infused the spirit of order into His universe, since the smallest animate creatures are as much controlled by it as are the rolling spheres or the seraphic messengers. It would be wise for believers to be ruled by the same influence in all their spiritual life. In their Christian graces no one virtue should usurp the sphere of another, or eat out the vitals of the rest for its own support. Affection must not smother honesty, courage must not elbow weakness out of the field, modesty must not jostle energy, and patience must not slaughter resolution. So also with our duties, one must not interfere with another; public usefulness must not injure private piety; church work must not push family worship into a corner. It is ill to offer God one duty stained with the blood of another. Each thing is beautiful in its season, but not otherwise. It was to the Pharisee that Jesus said, "This ought ye to have done, and not to have left the other undone." The same rule applies to our personal position, we must take care to know our place, take it, and keep to it. We must minister as the Spirit has given us ability, and not intrude upon our fellow servant's domain. Our Lord Jesus taught us not to covet the high places, but to be willing to be the least among the brethren. Far from us be an envious, ambitious spirit, let us feel the force of the Master's command, and do as He bids us, keeping rank with the rest of the host. Tonight let us see whether we are keeping the unity of the Spirit in the bonds of peace, and let our prayer be that, in all the churches of the Lord Jesus, peace and order may prevail.

Surprise, surprise… BOOM! The U.S. government just CONFIRMED what “conspiracy theorists” were warning about for decades: they are SPRAYING CHEMICALS in the sky, altering the atmosphere, manipulating weather patterns, and lying to the American people. FAA, NASA, and NOAA admit the operation under the name “contrails.” The truth is now official — and horrifying.

"But Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods." Exodus 7:12

This incident is an instructive emblem of the sure victory of the divine handiwork over all opposition. Whenever a divine principle is cast into the heart, though the devil may fashion a counterfeit, and produce swarms of opponents, as sure as ever God is
in the work, it will swallow up all its foes. If God's grace takes possession of a man, the world's magicians may throw down all their rods; and every rod may be as cunning and poisonous as a serpent, but Aaron's rod will swallow up their rods. The sweet attractions of the cross will woo and win the man's heart, and he who lived only for this deceitful earth will now have an eye for the upper spheres, and a wing to mount into celestial heights. When grace has won the day the worldling seeks the world to come. The same fact is to be observed in the life of the believer. What multitudes of foes has our faith had to meet! Our old sins- the devil threw them down before us, and they turned to serpents. What hosts of them! Ah, but the cross of Jesus destroys them all. Faith in Christ makes short work of all our sins. Then the devil has launched forth another host of serpents in the form of worldly trials, temptations, unbelief; but faith in Jesus is more than a match for them, and overcomes them all. The same absorbing principle shines in the faithful service of God! With an enthusiastic love for Jesus difficulties are surmounted, sacrifices become pleasures, sufferings are honours. But if religion is thus a consuming passion in the heart, then it follows that there are many persons who profess religion but have it not; for what they have will not bear this test. Examine yourself, my reader, on this point. Aaron's rod proved its heaven-given power. Is your religion doing so? If Christ be anything He must be everything. O rest not till love and faith in Jesus be the master passions of your soul!

"Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called." 1 Corinthians 7:20

Some persons have the foolish notion that the only way in which they can live for God is by becoming ministers, missionaries, or Bible women. Alas! how many would be shut out from any opportunity of magnifying the Most High if this were the case. Beloved, it is not office, it is earnestness; it is not position, it is grace which will enable us to glorify God. God is most surely glorified in that cobbler's stall, where the godly worker, as he plies the awl, sings of the Saviour's love, ay, glorified far more than in many a prebendal stall where official religiousness performs its scanty duties. The name of Jesus is glorified by the poor unlearned carter as he drives his horse, and blesses his God, or speaks to his fellow labourer by the roadside, as much as by the popular divine who, throughout the country, like Boanerges, is thundering out the gospel. God is glorified by our serving Him in our proper vocations. Take care, dear reader, that you do not forsake the path of duty by leaving your occupation, and take care you do not dishonour your profession while in it. Think little of yourselves, but do not think too little of your callings. Every lawful trade may be sanctified by the gospel to noblest ends. Turn to the Bible, and you will find the most menial forms of labour connected either with most daring deeds of faith, or with persons whose lives have been illustrious for holiness. Therefore be not discontented with your calling. Whatever God has made your position, or your work, abide in that, unless you are quite sure that he calls you to something else. Let your first care be to glorify God to the utmost of your power where you are. Fill your present sphere to His praise, and if He needs you in another He will show it you. This evening lay aside vexatious ambition, and embrace peaceful content.

  • Trump; The Man of the Melinium

I hope everyone understands the worst of what really could happen. The movie never told you of Robert J. Oppenheimer’s managerial cover up. During the development of the first Atomic bomb to detonate over Japan to end WWII. During the ongoing development in the labs of Los Alamos Oppenheimer’s scientist came up with dangerous calculations. The question Oppenheimer wanted to know is “what would happen to the atmosphere during an A Bomb detonation”. The first calculation Oppenheimer’s scientist came up with showed high probability that the A-Bomb detonation would light the heavens. You see, our air is made of Nitrogen, Oxygen, Argon, water, helium, hydrogen which makes our Air nice and safe to breathe and the early theory was that during the ignition of the bombs extreme temperature would separate out all the elements of the Air and light the explosive elements causing the earth to become a “star” or like our sun.. Oppenheimer didn’t like the early theoretical calculations and told his Scientist to go back and re-do the calculations. Oppy, did this not once but several times until he got a calculation that he was happy with and the risk showing a low probability of “lighting the heavens”. That was enough for “Oppy” to press ahead and set off the first Atomic Bomb, for now everyone was safe, maybe. Fast forward to today, post many atomic bomb detonations, Now the calculations show that there IS a high probability that our earth, the atmosphere, the oceans could be ignited and light the heavens turning the earth into a new star or sun. Almost all nations including North Korea the rogue hermit kingdom know this and do all their tests, underground. To keep from setting our atmosphere ablaze and Turning the Earch into the new sun its a theory that you can’t light the heavens from an underground test, maybe.

1994 Los Lunas, New Mexico built their new airport out on a Mesa and as construction moved forward they kept digging up grids of copper wire linked to a discovered underground bunker meant to be manned. This was one of many detection grids manned during the first Atomic Bomb test at White Sands New Mexico. The plan was, truly I speak, if and I say if the bomb went off and the Atmosphere was ignited the men manning the grid stations were to call the White House in Washington DC and tell them the world is ending the the fireball atmosphere would reach them in minutes.
Trump is not the President for the decade, the century, but for the Millenia. Iran must be stopped. If they start firing nuclear missles to Israel, the US , Europe or wherever the odds are one or multiples of those A-Bombs WILL light the heavens and the earth will become the New Star like our Sun. Trump must bring Iran to its knees, end its Nuclear development program, get a complete regime change and end this forever dangerous Hell. Every President before Trump has failed and even help create this Hell.

  • Apparently there is a #BoycottStarbucks thing happening right now. If you are looking for good coffee, and you are in or near Columbia, Tennessee, I recommend Cabin Coffee. They have the best coffee I've had from a coffee shop (and I have had a LOT of coffee in my lifetime!), and the owners are really good people. They are Christians and have set a relaxing atmosphere in their quaint little shop. I visit there at least once a year!

  • Spending time with God is crucial to the Christian life. Meeting with Him, speaking to Him through prayer and allowing Him to speak to us through His word, provides us the spiritual nourishment we need and helps draw us closer to Him. We all should regularly take time to climb from this lowly earth to the mount of His presence, and receive the benefit of communing with God.

    Spurgeon's Morning and Evening Devotions

    Evening, April 4

"Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord." Isaiah 2:3

It is exceedingly beneficial to our souls to mount above this present evil world to something nobler and better. The cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches are apt to choke everything good within us, and we grow fretful, desponding, perhaps proud and carnal. It is well for us to cut down these thorns and briers, for heavenly seed sown among them is not likely to yield a harvest; and where shall we find a better sickle with which to cut them down than communion with God and the things of the kingdom? In the valleys of Switzerland many of the inhabitants are deformed, and all wear a sickly appearance, for the atmosphere is charged with miasma, and is close and stagnant; but up yonder, on the mountain, you find a hardy race, who breathe the clear fresh air as it blows from the virgin snows of the Alpine summits. It would be well if the dwellers in the valley could frequently leave their abodes among the marshes and the fever mists, and inhale the bracing element upon the hills. It is to such an exploit of climbing that I invite you this evening. May the Spirit of God assist us to leave the mists of fear and the fevers of anxiety, and all the ills which gather in this valley of earth, and to ascend the mountains of anticipated joy and blessedness. May God the Holy Spirit cut the cords that keep us here below, and assist us to mount! We sit too often like chained eagles fastened to the rock, only that, unlike the eagle, we begin to love our chain, and would, perhaps, if it came really to the test, be loath to have it snapped. May God now grant us grace, if we cannot escape from the chain as to our flesh, yet to do so as to our spirits; and leaving the body, like a servant, at the foot of the hill, may our soul, like Abraham, attain the top of the mountain, there to indulge in communion with the Most High.

  • Oh that we might have but a taste of Christ's love, or a mere glimpse of the surface. We cannot in this life grasp the fullness of its depth, but we can experience it and share it with others.

    Spurgeon's Morning and Evening Devotions

    Morning, March 28

"The love of Christ which passeth knowledge." Ephesians 3:19

The love of Christ in its sweetness, its fulness, its greatness, its faithfulness, passeth all human comprehension. Where shall language be found which shall describe His matchless, His unparalleled love towards the children of men? It is so vast and boundless that, as the swallow but skimmeth the water, and diveth not into its depths, so all descriptive words but touch the surface, while depths immeasurable lie beneath. Well might the poet say,

    "O love, thou fathomless abyss!"

for this love of Christ is indeed measureless and fathomless; none can attain unto it. Before we can have any right idea of the love of Jesus, we must understand His previous glory in its height of majesty, and His incarnation upon the earth in all its depths of shame. But who can tell us the majesty of Christ? When He was enthroned in the highest heavens He was very God of very God; by Him were the heavens made, and all the hosts thereof. His own almighty arm upheld the spheres; the praises of cherubim and seraphim perpetually surrounded Him; the full chorus of the hallelujahs of the universe unceasingly flowed to the foot of his throne: He reigned supreme above all His creatures, God over all, blessed for ever. Who can tell His height of glory then? And who, on the other hand, can tell how low He descended? To be a man was something, to be a man of sorrows was far more; to bleed, and die, and suffer, these were much for Him who was the Son of God; but to suffer such unparalleled agony- to endure a death of shame and desertion by His Father, this is a depth of condescending love which the most inspired mind must utterly fail to fathom. Herein is love! and truly it is love that "passeth knowledge." O let this love fill our hearts with adoring gratitude, and lead us to practical manifestations of its power.

  • FROM 150 MILES - Last Week from 150 miles away in Santa Barbara the Palisades fire was still burning un-contained and I could see the smoke rising, but not just rising a few thousand feet but what look like “tens” of thousands of feet. The rising column of smoke , and I’m guessing 30K to 40K feet. One week later, historic weather in the south with snow storms not seen in 10 decades. For years we’ve smogged our cars, closed factories, and regulated pollution and the weather has gotten dryer and hotter. Smoke from the fires must have done something to change the climate. Cleaning up the environment affects weather patterns as fires polluting the atmosphere change the environment

  • GREAT SEA STORY
The passenger steamer SS Warrimoo was quietly knifing its way through the waters of the mid-Pacific on its way from Vancouver to Australia. The navigator had just finished working out a star fix and brought Captain John DS. Phillips, the result. The Warrimoo's position was LAT 0º 31' N and LONG 179 30' W. The date was 31 December 1899. "Know what this means?" First Mate Payton broke in, "We're only a few miles from the intersection of the Equator and the International Date Line." Captain Phillips was prankish enough to take full advantage of the opportunity for achieving the navigational freak of a lifetime.
He called his navigators to the bridge to check & double check the ship's position. He changed course slightly to bear directly on his mark. Then he adjusted the engine speed.
The calm weather & clear night worked in his favor. At midnight the SS Warrimoo lay on the Equator at exactly the point where it crossed the International Date Line! The consequences of this bizarre position were many:
The ship's forward part (bow) was in the Southern Hemisphere & in the middle of summer.
The rear (stern) was in the Northern Hemisphere & in the middle of winter.
The date in the aft part of the ship was 31 December 1899.
In the bow (forward) part, it was 1 January 1900.
This ship was, therefore not only in:
    Two different days,
    Two different months,
    Two different years,
    Two different seasons
But in two different centuries - all at the same time!

Just got video proof of the Weather Modification planes with the chemicals attached to the wings

It’s absolutely disgusting. Graphene oxide which is purported to have caused adverse reactions in vaccines, is apparently being sprayed into the atmosphere for so called climate change reasons. It appears that America has become the single largest concentration camp in world history!

  • THIS IS NOT MINE, IT IS COPIED AND PASTED
    REFLECTION
"My parents were married for 55 years. One morning, my mom was going downstairs to make dad breakfast, she had a heart attack and fell. My father picked her up as best he could and almost dragged her into the truck. At full speed , without respecting traffic lights, he drove her to the hospital.
When he arrived, unfortunately she was no longer with us.
During the funeral, my father did not speak; his gaze was lost. He hardly cried.
That night, his children joined him. In an atmosphere of pain and nostalgia, we remembered beautiful anecdotes and he asked my brother, a theologian, to tell him where Mom would be at that moment. My brother began to talk about life after death, and guesses as to how and where she would be.
My father listened carefully. Suddenly he asked us to take him to the cemetery.
Dad!" we replied, "it's 11 at night, we can't go to the cemetery right now!"
He raised his voice, and with a glazed look he said:
"Don't argue with me, please don't argue with the man who just lost his wife of 55 years."
There was a moment of respectful silence, we didn't argue anymore. We went to the cemetery, we asked the night watchman for permission. With a flashlight we reached the tomb. My father caressed her, prayed and told his children, who watched the scene moved:
"It was 55 years... you know? No one can talk about true love if they have no idea what it's like to share life with a woman."
He paused and wiped his face. "She and I, we were together in that crisis. I changed jobs ..." he continued. "We packed up when we sold the house and moved out of town. We shared the joy of seeing our children finish their careers, we mourned the departure of loved ones side by side, we prayed together in the waiting room of some hospitals, we support each other in pain, we hug each Christmas, and we forgive our mistakes... Children, now it's gone, and I'm happy, do you know why?
Because she left before me. She didn't have to go through the agony and pain of burying me, of being left alone after my departure. I will be the one to go through that, and I thank God. I love her so much that I wouldn't have liked her to suffer..."
When my father finished speaking, my brothers and I had tears streaming down our faces. We hugged him, and he comforted us, "It's okay, we can go home, it's been a good day."
That night I understood what true love is; It is far from romanticism, it does not have much to do with eroticism, or with sex, rather it is linked to work, to complement, to care and, above all, to the true love that two really committed people profess ".
    Peace in your hearts.
