Everyone needs to understand the writing on the wall. Biden is already mumbling the need to sunset Social Security. In fact Social Security Act was started on 1935 to “End the destitute Old People Problem”. And it has done some of that. Along comes Dec. 7, 1941, Pearl Harbor was attacked drawing us into World War II. Now the big problem, how to pay for it, how will WWII be funded. Our leadership looked at the then unused SSA fund and it was RICH, no one had used or started taking out an income stream; it was rich folks, rich. So what did they do, they wrote an IOU and started borrowing on it. Borrowing and Spending it for ships, planes, tanks, jeeps, trucks and all training and pay for our forces. To this day they have NEVER paid one dime back; and yet they have borrowed on twice since then. It still has not been paid back. In 2035 SSA ends for all, the workers still be taxed on SSA saying it’s needed to pay debt but beyond 2035 no one will get an SSA pension. So you know the rumblings to sunset Medicare and SSA. We spent money like a drunken sailor for WWII and when it ended there brand new planes, tanks, jeeps and all that never saw combat and were immediately surplused, sold, even scrapped.

There are two sides to every story. They are obviously against Red states. Maybe the lunch program came with too many federal policy strings. Conservatives (Red) are not for their children starving. In my experience, I have seen to many free-loading uncles and adults who end up eating these meals and the kids are missing out on this nutrition.

Have you lost count yet of the number of things in our country that are broken? The justice system. Public safety. Education. Medicine. Money. Transportation. Housing. The food supply. The border. The News business. The arts. Our relations with other countries. That’s just the big institutional stuff. At the personal scale its an overwhelming plunge in living standards, loss of incomes, careers, chattels, liberties. . . poor health (especially mental health). . . and failing confidence in any plausible future.
