I've heard many people at times get excited over things like Ancestry.com and 23andMe and the idea of using genetics to trace their lineage. I have always expressed a concern over the storage, use, and potential abuse of the information obtained, a concern at which the interested parties have often scoffed. Well, it appears my worry was warranted, and if you think it could or would only be used to target Ashkenazi Jews, think again.
