Sent another email to our commie-crat governor Cooper in NC after learning that DSS agencies are removing children from their parents who lost their homes during Helene and are now homeless. Instead of helping these families find some kind of housing to keep them together, he is having the children removed. During such a traumatic time when these people have lost everything and now their children are being removed and placed into foster homes. The time and hoops that a parent has to jump through to get their children back are horrendous. I've worked in the foster care system for 34 years. I know what it takes. But instead of helping our own, Cooper chooses to give housing to illegals as well as giving them everything else for free. I encountered a lady recently who is angry with God about her life circumstances. Her marriage ended, her child is angry with her and has not spoken to her in six years, and she is hurting still from childhood traumas. She believes that God has promised her a life of ease, and she is angry because she believes God has not kept His promise. Believers, would you pray for her with me? I shared the Gospel with her and told her that nowhere in the scriptures does God promise us a life of ease here on this earth. As a matter of fact, we actually deserve death, hell and the grave, but God has given us life through His Son. I also shared with her that God may be humbling her, and as long as she resists, the humbling will continue. She thanked me for my encouragement, told me that she didn't like what I was saying, but she also said she hopes that we meet again. I pray that happens.
