Another of the Apostle Paul’s prayers: “For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.“ ‭‭Colossians‬ ‭1‬:‭9‬-‭12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/114/col.1.9-12.NKJV

Paul was a man of prayer. It would be good to read, note, and even study the prayers which the apostle prayed for the churches he wrote to. Better still, for us to pray those kinds of prayers for our churches, and for believers in other churches that we know of. I am starting a series posting Paul’s prayers. Here is the first one l am going to post today. ”Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power, that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.“ ‭‭II Thessalonians‬ ‭1‬:‭11‬-‭12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/114/2th.1.11-12.NKJV

I read the following scriptures earlier this week. Got news this morning that a young woman who is Facebook friends with me just lost her mother to cancer. It was clear to me that l needed to share these scriptures with her. Hope you are encouraged as well. ”But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. “And you shall be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine.” ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭20‬:‭26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/114/lev.20.26.NKJV Though written originally to Israel, it applies today to God’s people, the church of Jesus Christ.

”And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,“ ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭9‬:‭27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/114/heb.9.27.NKJV Heard earlier of the death of OJ Simpson. Hope he repented and believed in Jesus before he passed. He never did confess of his murdering his ex wife and the Goldman man. The question is do you know Jesus as Lord and Savior? Have you repented of you sins and believed on Christ for salvation? Death will come to us all, including you, just as it did to OJ. Be prepared to stand before your maker by trusting Jesus to be your savior.

Message to believers in Christ everywhere: ”Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. “Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body.“ ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭23‬ b NKJV‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/114/eph.5.23.NKJV Some folks have claimed that Donald Trump has hijacked the church in America, considering the broad support he has from evangelicals. That is not true. No man or woman has hijacked the Church of Jesus Christ. Some church folks allegiance may have been hijacked by politicians and some may misplace their supreme allegiance to Trump, but the true church is headed by Jesus and always will be. Nothing can change that

”looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith,” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Let us look supremely to the head of the church, the one who saved us, not the people in the church. Jesus is the one our faith is to be in, not people.

”Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,“ ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28‬:‭19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ I believe in Christian nationalism in all 200 nations on the planet. By that l mean, people out of all nations believe on Jesus Christ for salvation, and following Him afterwards in love, faith, and obedience.

Jesus is Lord! Is He your Lord?

”Do not love the world or the things in the world. Man cannot change the identity of true faith in Jesus Christ. God has already revealed what true Christianity is, and it is revealed in His book the Bible. Anything apart from that is false and of the world
