Psalm 8:9

O LORD our LORD, how excellent is Thy Name in all the earth!

In this verse, David reiterates the glory due to the Name of the LORD.  David reiterates the fact that God displays His glory Himself.  We can see His glory in His creation:  the sun that rises in the morning, the moon and the stars that shine at night, the rain that is falling as I type these words, the wind that blows, the high and low temperatures over which only God has control (and not any man-made concept such as climate change or global warming), and every living creature that He created, including animals and humans.  

David's repeat of this psalm is a great example for us.  The praise, honor and glory given to our heavenly Father should be on repeat all the time.  Every single day we should praise the LORD for something.  He has done so much for us until we can think of at least one thing each day for which we can praise Him.  If you have not thanked the LORD today for what He has done, take a moment to do so now.  He is worthy!
