But the music lives on. Son number one and his wife in their younger days (he is now 66) followed the Grateful Dead all over the US one year. In my 50’s I got to go to 5 shows and bought a book of the lyrics by Robert Hunter. Not a drinker or a toker myself, I’m sure I got a contact high with smoke in the air. Joy was in the music. Pure joy, I danced my heart out and my son got a kick out of his mama getting on the bus. Only another Dead Head would know what that means. This song is deeply meaning full.
