And we need not fear, for God is with us (Isa. 41:10). We should have no fear of man; for what can man do to us but kill the flesh? No, let is always be bold in the face of evil, as the only right fear is that of God who can destroy both body and soul in the fires of hell (Mt. 10:28), because this fear, the fear of God, is the beginning of wisdom (Psalm. 111:10; Pr. 1:7, 9:10).

Let us then don our armor, take up arms, and enter the war against evil to which we were called. For we know in the end, victory belongs to the Lord (Pr. 21:31; 1 Cor. 15:57; 1 Jn. 5:4; Rev. 17:14)!

And secondly - today is the anniversary of the landing of King William III, at Torbay, by which the hope of Popish ascendancy was quashed, and religious liberty was secured, 1688.

This day ought to be celebrated, not by the saturnalia of striplings, but by the songs of saints. Our Puritan forefathers most devoutly made it a special time of thanksgiving. There is extant a record of the annual sermons preached by Matthew Henry on this day. Our Protestant feeling, and our love of liberty, should make us regard its anniversary with holy gratitude. Let our hearts and lips exclaim, "We have heard with our ears, and our fathers have told us the wondrous things which Thou didst in their day, and in the old time before them." Thou hast made this nation the home of the gospel; and when the foe has risen against her, Thou hast shielded her. Help us to offer repeated songs for repeated deliverances. There was an accident the other day killing three innocent Americans with a semi 18 wheeler truck seemingly caused by a truck driver who had little knowledge of the English language and little knowledge of understanding street signs. I live in Alberta, Canada and have been fearful for the last several years of driving my car on the public roads because I notice that every single 18 wheeler I see has a driver with a cloth wrapped around their head. I don't know if those people are illegal aliens or whether or not they can read street signs or understand English but I am afraid just the same! The same rings true with a lot of deliveries I expect to be delivered to my door by couriers... I would guess that from 20-25% of my deliveries iether get delivered to the wrong door or have to be rescheduled because the delivery driver cannot distinguish between the A,B,C and D on the doors in my fourplex. I know that a person who could understand and have the ability to read English would not have a problem delivering a package in English speaking North America or being in control of a multi ton vehicle!

Duffner Good morning. Do you have room in the footer for the Declaration of Independence? I believe it should be in the reference library, along with the other Founders' documents. It is our nation's first foundational document, our nation's political manifesto. It clearly states the reason for this noble experiment in governance, lays out the English enlightenment principles that were codified in the subsequent Articles of Confederation and the Constitution.

Americans have, in large part, gone off the rails over elections. The reactions from both Democrats and Republicans in the wake of November 5 further reveals something I’ve said for a long time - most Americans have little, if any, knowledge or understanding of the Constitution. Working in tech as I do, a common phrase when you want to know how something works is RTFM - Read the F^@#!*$ Manual. It’s time for all Americans to do just that. Don’t worry, it’s a lot shorter and easier to read than the end-user agreement for your new iPhone or your Windows upgrade (unlike , it’s written in plain English).
