He thought for a minute, then answered "If I do that, I wont have to step out of the house?" "Yes, yes" I said. I told him how even grocery can be delivered to your front door now, and how Amazon delivers everything! His answer left me speechless. He replied "Since I entered this bank today, I have met four of my friends. And I have chatted for a while with the staff who know me very well by now. You know that I am alone. This is the company that I need. I like to get ready and come to the bank. I have more than enough time, it is the physical touch that I crave. Two years ago I got sick, The shop owner, where I buy my fruit, came to see me and sat by my bedside and cried. When your mum fell down few days ago during her morning walk, our local grocer saw her and immediately brought his car to rush her home, as he knows where I live. Would I have that 'human' touch if everything became online? Why would I want everything delivered to me, forcing me to only interact with my computer? I like to know the person I'm dealing with and not just the 'seller'. It creates bonds and relationships and keeps me active , Does Amazon deliver all this as well?" Technology isn't life and if we let it life as it is now will be gone , stop saying you have no time to shop local because local to some is all thay have , so Spend time with people. That word is derived from the Greek word “oikoumenikos,” which literally means “of the world.” Here’s an important question for every believer: “What kind of unity do we have with the world?” In John 15:19 Jesus said to his disciples, “If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.” Our Lord told them that belief in him and his word would divide even families. He said in Luke 12:53, “The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.” Our basis for unity must be belief in Jesus alone and what Paul declared in 2 Timothy 3:16 is God’s inspired scripture which is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness.
