  • Brethren, on what do you set your sights daily? Is your aim success as the world defines it? Is it leisure? Perhaps it is more simple, more stoic, to “live and let live” as they say.

    Forget not, we are but sojourners here; our citizenship is in heaven (Phil. 3:20). And so should be our focus.

    Jesus exhorted that where our treasure is, so would our hearts be (Mt. 6:21). So Paul exhorts that we look not at those things visible and temporal, but we see beyond to those things which are invisible and eternal, we look to “the things which are not seen” (2 Cor. 4:18).

    Do not let that which is around you distract you from the goal. Run the race “in such a way that you may win” (1 Cor. 9:24). We have not been left without guidance to wander aimless in this world. We have God’s word, we know what lies ahead, and we know how to get there. So, “as aliens and strangers to abstain from fleshly lusts which wage war against the soul” (1 Pet. 2:11). Discipline yourself so that you will not be “disqualified” (1 Cor. 9:27). Present yourself as a living and holy sacrifice to the one true God, and be transformed by the renewing of your mind (Rom. 12:1-2).

    Never weary of doing the Lord’s work (1 Cor. 15:58). Then in the end, we shall receive an imperishable wreath (1 Cor. 9:25), an “unfading crown of glory” (1 Pet. 5:4), and be blessed to hear the words from our Lord, “well done, good and faithful servant” (Mt. 25:21).

    Spurgeon’s Morning and Evening Devotions

    Morning, January 29

    "The things which are not seen." 2 Corinthians 4:18

    In our Christian pilgrimage it is well, for the most part, to be looking forward. Forward lies the crown, and onward is the goal. Whether it be for hope, for joy, for consolation, or for the inspiring of our love, the future must, after all, be the grand object of the eye of faith. Looking into the future we see sin cast out, the body of sin and death destroyed, the soul made perfect, and fit to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in light. Looking further yet, the believer's enlightened eye can see death's river passed, the gloomy stream forded, and the hills of light attained on which standeth the celestial city; he seeth himself enter within the pearly gates, hailed as more than conqueror, crowned by the hand of Christ, embraced in the arms of Jesus, glorified with Him, and made to sit together with Him on His throne, even as He has overcome and has sat down with the Father on His throne. The thought of this future may well relieve the darkness of the past and the gloom of the present. The joys of heaven will surely compensate for the sorrows of earth. Hush, hush, my doubts! death is but a narrow stream, and thou shalt soon have forded it. Time, how short- eternity, how long! Death, how brief- immortality, how endless! Methinks I even now eat of Eshcol's clusters, and sip of the well which is within the gate. The road is so, so short! I shall soon be there.

    "When the world my heart is rending
    With its heaviest storm of care,
    My glad thoughts to heaven ascending,
    Find a refuge from despair.
    Faith's bright vision shall sustain me
    Till life's pilgrimage is past;
    Fears may vex and troubles pain me,
    I shall reach my home at last."

  • Jeremiah
    Chapter 33

    1 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the prison, saying,

    2 Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name;

    3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

    4 For thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword;

    5 They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but it is to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city.

    6 Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.

    7 And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.

    8 And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.

    9 And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.

    10 Thus saith the LORD; Again there shall be heard in this place, which ye say shall be desolate without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,

    11 The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the LORD.

    12 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, shall be an habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.

    13 In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that telleth them, saith the LORD.

    14 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.

    15 In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.

    16 In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness.

    17 For thus saith the LORD; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;

    18 Neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle meat offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.

    19 And the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, saying,

    20 Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season;

    21 Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.

    22 As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.

    23 Moreover the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying,

    24 Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.

    25 Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;

    26 Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob, and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.

    Breaking: Armed Anti-ICE Activist Alex Pretti Exposed as Part of Signal Conspiracy to Harass Federal Agents – Trump’s Crackdown on Chaos Proven Right
    By Jonathan Gregory
    Minneapolis, MN - January 26, 2026
    In a stunning revelation that underscores the dangers faced by federal law enforcement under President Donald Trump's renewed immigration enforcement, Alex Pretti, the man fatally shot by ICE agents after putting hands on them, has been confirmed as a member of the Kingfield Signal ICE watch group. This highly organized network of anti-ICE activists tracks agents around the clock, follows them, confronts them, and sometimes arrives armed to impede operations aimed at deporting illegal alien criminals. Jeanne Massey, who coordinates rapid response for these networks, confirmed Pretti's involvement, revealing he was actively targeting ICE while carrying a loaded gun and extra magazines. President Trump has long warned about the radical left's efforts to sabotage border security, and this incident highlights why his "common sense" policies to partner with local authorities and end sanctuary cities are essential to protecting American communities from such politically motivated disruptions.
    Further details from the anti-ICE rapid response Signal group paint an even grimmer picture, with user “Tom O’Hoch” stating, “We suspect an ‘observer’ was shot,” referring to ICE chasers like Pretti who are dedicated to hunting down, harassing, antagonizing, or even assaulting federal agents. These "observers" represent a coordinated conspiracy that endangers law enforcement and undermines Trump's mandate to restore order after years of open-border policies under previous administrations. Why on Earth do these radical leftists want to shield illegal alien criminals and incite chaos in their cities? It's pure political posturing to blame Trump, even as states like Texas and Florida quietly detain and deport threats every week without the riots sparked by leaders like Minnesota's Tim Walz and Jacob Frey. All the blood from these confrontations lies on the hands of those who hate this country and refuse to work with the feds.

    President Trump's call for Democrat governors and mayors to turn over criminal aliens, transfer arrests to federal custody, assist in detentions, and fully partner on removals is more urgent than ever in light of this exposure. He also urges Congress to pass legislation ending sanctuary cities, which harbor dangers and enable groups like Pretti's to operate unchecked. As nationwide protests erupt over the shooting, Trump's supporters see this as validation of his tough stance; without strong enforcement, radical agitators will continue to escalate, putting agents and citizens at risk. The President remains committed to making America safe again, proving that cooperating with ICE isn't just policy, it's patriotism.

    Here’s what absolutely cannot happen, and I fear it may so I’m going to speak up and risk offending allies now in the hopes doing so means the George W Bush (Iraq/TARP) level generational political mistake I fear we could make is avoided.

    WE CANNOT ACCEPT ALL THE POLITICAL BLOWBACK FROM DOING WHAT MUST BE DONE TO DEFEND OUR WAY OF LIFE, AND THEN NOT FOLLOW THROUGH AND DO IT.

    That will be the next generation’s “bringing democracy to the Middle East” or “suspending free market principles to save the free market” dumbassery. If you’re going to step on a shibboleth of the damned, you must smash that idol into pieces. Do not go into these blue state/city-state communist hellholes timidly.

    They are cultural Fallujah, and culturally invading foreign countries in every way but location within this land mass. Treat them accordingly, or never go in at all. But if you do go in you cannot back down. You cannot look weak. You must sweep the leg.

    These are the Jim Crowers of the modern era, attempting to install a separate America from the constitutional union — treat them accordingly. If you do not have the political will to do so, don’t start the fight lest you risk accelerating their plans. If your generals don’t have what it takes, get new ones pronto. But what you absolutely mustn’t do here is what the French did in the Rhineland, which is run at the first sign of pushback and only embolden the evil more.

    This is no time to get wobbly, George…err….Donald.

  • Jeremiah
    Chapter 25
    VS 1-24

    1 The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that was the first year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon;

    2 The which Jeremiah the prophet spake unto all the people of Judah, and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying,

    3 From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, even unto this day, that is the three and twentieth year, the word of the LORD hath come unto me, and I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye have not hearkened.

    4 And the LORD hath sent unto you all his servants the prophets, rising early and sending them; but ye have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear.

    5 They said, Turn ye again now every one from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that the LORD hath given unto you and to your fathers for ever and ever:

    6 And go not after other gods to serve them, and to worship them, and provoke me not to anger with the works of your hands; and I will do you no hurt.

    7 Yet ye have not hearkened unto me, saith the LORD; that ye might provoke me to anger with the works of your hands to your own hurt.

    8 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Because ye have not heard my words,

    9 Behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, saith the LORD, and Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations round about, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and an hissing, and perpetual desolations.

    10 Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the candle.

    11 And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.

    12 And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, saith the LORD, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations.

    13 And I will bring upon that land all my words which I have pronounced against it, even all that is written in this book, which Jeremiah hath prophesied against all the nations.

    14 For many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of them also: and I will recompense them according to their deeds, and according to the works of their own hands.

    15 For thus saith the LORD God of Israel unto me; Take the wine cup of this fury at my hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send thee, to drink it.

    16 And they shall drink, and be moved, and be mad, because of the sword that I will send among them.

    17 Then took I the cup at the LORD'S hand, and made all the nations to drink, unto whom the LORD had sent me:

    18 To wit, Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and the kings thereof, and the princes thereof, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, an hissing, and a curse; as it is this day;

    19 Pharaoh king of Egypt, and his servants, and his princes, and all his people;

    20 And all the mingled people, and all the kings of the land of Uz, and all the kings of the land of the Philistines, and Ashkelon, and Azzah, and Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod,

    21 Edom, and Moab, and the children of Ammon,

    22 And all the kings of Tyrus, and all the kings of Zidon, and the kings of the isles which are beyond the sea,

    24 And all the kings of Arabia, and all the kings of the mingled people that dwell in the desert,

    Jeremiah Chapter 25 VS 1-24 1 The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that was the first year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; 2 The which Jeremiah the prophet spake unto all the people of Judah, and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, 3 From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, even unto this day, that is the three and twentieth year, the word of the LORD hath come unto me, and I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye have not hearkened. 4 And the LORD hath sent unto you all his servants the prophets, rising early and sending them; but ye have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear. 5 They said, Turn ye again now every one from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that the LORD hath given unto you and to your fathers for ever and ever: 6 And go not after other gods to serve them, and to worship them, and provoke me not to anger with the works of your hands; and I will do you no hurt. 7 Yet ye have not hearkened unto me, saith the LORD; that ye might provoke me to anger with the works of your hands to your own hurt. 8 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Because ye have not heard my words, 9 Behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, saith the LORD, and Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations round about, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and an hissing, and perpetual desolations. 17 Then took I the cup at the LORD'S hand, and made all the nations to drink, unto whom the LORD had sent me: 18 To wit, Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and the kings thereof, and the princes thereof, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, an hissing, and a curse; as it is this day; 19 Pharaoh king of Egypt, and his servants, and his princes, and all his people; 20 And all the mingled people, and all the kings of the land of Uz, and all the kings of the land of the Philistines, and Ashkelon, and Azzah, and Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod, 21 Edom, and Moab, and the children of Ammon, 22 And all the kings of Tyrus, and all the kings of Zidon, and the kings of the isles which are beyond the sea, 23 Dedan, and Tema, and Buz, and all that are in the utmost corners, 24 And all the kings of Arabia, and all the kings of the mingled people that dwell in the desert,

  • Jeremiah
    Chapter 20

    1 Now Pashur the son of Immer the priest, who was also chief governor in the house of the LORD, heard that Jeremiah prophesied these things.

    2 Then Pashur smote Jeremiah the prophet, and put him in the stocks that were in the high gate of Benjamin, which was by the house of the LORD.

    3 And it came to pass on the morrow, that Pashur brought forth Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then said Jeremiah unto him, The LORD hath not called thy name Pashur, but Magormissabib.

    4 For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will make thee a terror to thyself, and to all thy friends: and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and thine eyes shall behold it: and I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall carry them captive into Babylon, and shall slay them with the sword.

    5 Moreover I will deliver all the strength of this city, and all the labours thereof, and all the precious things thereof, and all the treasures of the kings of Judah will I give into the hand of their enemies, which shall spoil them, and take them, and carry them to Babylon.

    6 And thou, Pashur, and all that dwell in thine house shall go into captivity: and thou shalt come to Babylon, and there thou shalt die, and shalt be buried there, thou, and all thy friends, to whom thou hast prophesied lies.

    7 O LORD, thou hast deceived me, and I was deceived: thou art stronger than I, and hast prevailed: I am in derision daily, every one mocketh me.

    8 For since I spake, I cried out, I cried violence and spoil; because the word of the LORD was made a reproach unto me, and a derision, daily.

    9 Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.

    10 For I heard the defaming of many, fear on every side. Report, say they, and we will report it. All my familiars watched for my halting, saying, Peradventure he will be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him.

    11 But the LORD is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten.

    12 But, O LORD of hosts, that triest the righteous, and seest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I opened my cause.

    13 Sing unto the LORD, praise ye the LORD: for he hath delivered the soul of the poor from the hand of evildoers.

    14 Cursed be the day wherein I was born: let not the day wherein my mother bare me be blessed.

    15 Cursed be the man who brought tidings to my father, saying, A man child is born unto thee; making him very glad.

    16 And let that man be as the cities which the LORD overthrew, and repented not: and let him hear the cry in the morning, and the shouting at noontide;

    17 Because he slew me not from the womb; or that my mother might have been my grave, and her womb to be always great with me.

    18 Wherefore came I forth out of the womb to see labour and sorrow, that my days should be consumed with shame?

  • Jeremiah
    Chapter 16

    1 The word of the LORD came also unto me, saying,

    2 Thou shalt not take thee a wife, neither shalt thou have sons or daughters in this place.

    3 For thus saith the LORD concerning the sons and concerning the daughters that are born in this place, and concerning their mothers that bare them, and concerning their fathers that begat them in this land;

    4 They shall die of grievous deaths; they shall not be lamented; neither shall they be buried; but they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth: and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and their carcases shall be meat for the fowls of heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.

    5 For thus saith the LORD, Enter not into the house of mourning, neither go to lament nor bemoan them: for I have taken away my peace from this people, saith the LORD, even lovingkindness and mercies.

    6 Both the great and the small shall die in this land: they shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them:

    7 Neither shall men tear themselves for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead; neither shall men give them the cup of consolation to drink for their father or for their mother.

    8 Thou shalt not also go into the house of feasting, to sit with them to eat and to drink.

    9 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place in your eyes, and in your days, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride.

    10 And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath the LORD pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the LORD our God?

    11 Then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith the LORD, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law;

    12 And ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me:

    13 Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that ye know not, neither ye nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve other gods day and night; where I will not shew you favour.

    14 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be said, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

    15 But, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers.

    16 Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the LORD, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.

    17 For mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes.

    18 And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double; because they have defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with the carcases of their detestable and abominable things.

    19 O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.

    20 Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they are no gods?

    21 Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know mine hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is The LORD.

  • Jeremiah
    Chapter 14

    1 The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah concerning the dearth.

    2 Judah mourneth, and the gates thereof languish; they are black unto the ground; and the cry of Jerusalem is gone up.

    3 And their nobles have sent their little ones to the waters: they came to the pits, and found no water; they returned with their vessels empty; they were ashamed and confounded, and covered their heads.

    4 Because the ground is chapt, for there was no rain in the earth, the plowmen were ashamed, they covered their heads.

    5 Yea, the hind also calved in the field, and forsook it, because there was no grass.

    6 And the wild asses did stand in the high places, they snuffed up the wind like dragons; their eyes did fail, because there was no grass.

    7 O LORD, though our iniquities testify against us, do thou it for thy name's sake: for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against thee.

    8 O the hope of Israel, the saviour thereof in time of trouble, why shouldest thou be as a stranger in the land, and as a wayfaring man that turneth aside to tarry for a night?

    9 Why shouldest thou be as a man astonied, as a mighty man that cannot save? yet thou, O LORD, art in the midst of us, and we are called by thy name; leave us not.

    10 Thus saith the LORD unto this people, Thus have they loved to wander, they have not refrained their feet, therefore the LORD doth not accept them; he will now remember their iniquity, and visit their sins.

    11 Then said the LORD unto me, Pray not for this people for their good.

    12 When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and an oblation, I will not accept them: but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence.

    13 Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place.

    14 Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.

    15 Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.

    16 And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and the sword; and they shall have none to bury them, them, their wives, nor their sons, nor their daughters: for I will pour their wickedness upon them.

    17 Therefore thou shalt say this word unto them; Let mine eyes run down with tears night and day, and let them not cease: for the virgin daughter of my people is broken with a great breach, with a very grievous blow.

    18 If I go forth into the field, then behold the slain with the sword! and if I enter into the city, then behold them that are sick with famine! yea, both the prophet and the priest go about into a land that they know not.

    19 Hast thou utterly rejected Judah? hath thy soul lothed Zion? why hast thou smitten us, and there is no healing for us? we looked for peace, and there is no good; and for the time of healing, and behold trouble!

    20 We acknowledge, O LORD, our wickedness, and the iniquity of our fathers: for we have sinned against thee.

    21 Do not abhor us, for thy name's sake, do not disgrace the throne of thy glory: remember, break not thy covenant with us.

    22 Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? art not thou he, O LORD our God? therefore we will wait upon thee: for thou hast made all these things.

  • Stop Canada from joining the New World Order!
    by Tamara Ugolini

    Prime Minister Mark Carney has now openly positioned Canada alongside China in what he calls a “New World Order.”

    Speaking in Beijing yesterday, Carney framed Canada’s future as at a crossroad: submit to American dominance, or help build a new global order in partnership with China. His language was deliberate and unmistakable, not an offhand remark.

    The pivot is especially striking given that just nine months ago, Carney publicly identified China as Canada’s greatest security threat. Now, standing before representatives of the Chinese Communist Party, he is promoting cooperation and a sweeping global realignment with the same regime.

The pivot is especially striking given that just nine months ago, Carney publicly identified China as Canada’s greatest security threat. Now, standing before representatives of the Chinese Communist Party, he is promoting cooperation and a sweeping global realignment with the same regime. πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ #MarkCarneyCantBeTrusted πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ #sayingthequietpartoutloud πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ #JustSayNoMore πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ #CarneyLies πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ https://www.rebelnews.com/stop_canada_from_joining_the_new_world_order

  • Jeremiah
    Chapter 10

    1 Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:

    2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

    3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.

    4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

    5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.

    6 Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O LORD; thou art great, and thy name is great in might.

    7 Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee.

    8 But they are altogether brutish and foolish: the stock is a doctrine of vanities.

    9 Silver spread into plates is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz, the work of the workman, and of the hands of the founder: blue and purple is their clothing: they are all the work of cunning men.

    10 But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.

    11 Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.

    12 He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.

    13 When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.

    14 Every man is brutish in his knowledge: every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.

    15 They are vanity, and the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.

    16 The portion of Jacob is not like them: for he is the former of all things; and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: The LORD of hosts is his name.

    17 Gather up thy wares out of the land, O inhabitant of the fortress.

    18 For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will sling out the inhabitants of the land at this once, and will distress them, that they may find it so.

    19 Woe is me for my hurt! my wound is grievous: but I said, Truly this is a grief, and I must bear it.

    20 My tabernacle is spoiled, and all my cords are broken: my children are gone forth of me, and they are not: there is none to stretch forth my tent any more, and to set up my curtains.

    21 For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought the LORD: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered.

    22 Behold, the noise of the bruit is come, and a great commotion out of the north country, to make the cities of Judah desolate, and a den of dragons.

    23 O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

    24 O LORD, correct me, but with judgment; not in thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing.

    25 Pour out thy fury upon the heathen that know thee not, and upon the families that call not on thy name: for they have eaten up Jacob, and devoured him, and consumed him, and have made his habitation desolate.

  • Believer, consider your salvation. It is not accomplished by human power, but by God Himself, and He is mighty, “mighty to save” (Isa. 63:1).

    We could not earn our salvation. Just as Israel, though they pledged to obey God, turned away over and again throughout the Old Testament, so we once lived in sin and ourselves were estranged from Him, by nature children of wrath (Eph. 2:3).

    Yet even while we were enemies, He reconciled us to Himself (Rom. 5:10). How mighty is our God, who, by the blood of His son, could turn sinners from their wicked ways and make them His children, and when He appears, we will be like Christ (1 Jn. 3:2).

    No amount of work, no might of man nor human ingenuity could perform such a mighty deed.

    Of course, God exhibits his might in saving physically as well. For how many times did He deliver a small contingent of His people from great armies (ex. Judges 7:7)? Or to save Daniel from the lions (Dan. 6:16-23), or Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego from the flames of the furnace (Dan. 3:19-27)?

    Martin Luther penned in his hymn that “a mighty fortress is our God,” and mighty He is indeed.

    Praise God that He is not only merciful to save us (Tit. 3:5), but mighty to do so as well (Isa. 63:1)!

    "Mighty to save." Isaiah 63:1

    By the words "to save" we understand the whole of the great work of salvation, from the first holy desire onward to complete sanctification. The words are multum in parro: indeed, here is all mercy in one word. Christ is not only "mighty to save" those who repent, but He is able to make men repent. He will carry those to heaven who believe; but He is, moreover, mighty to give men new hearts and to work faith in them. He is mighty to make the man who hates holiness love it, and to constrain the despiser of His name to bend the knee before Him. Nay, this is not all the meaning, for the divine power is equally seen in the after-work. The life of a believer is a series of miracles wrought by "the Mighty God." The bush burns, but is not consumed. He is mighty to keep His people holy after He has made them so, and to preserve them in his fear and love until he consummates their spiritual existence in heaven. Christ's might doth not lie in making a believer and then leaving him to shift for himself; but He who begins the good work carries it on; He who imparts the first germ of life in the dead soul, prolongs the divine existence, and strengthens it until it bursts asunder every bond of sin, and the soul leaps from earth, perfected in glory. Believer, here is encouragement. Art thou praying for some beloved one? Oh, give not up thy prayers, for Christ is "mighty to save." You are powerless to reclaim the rebel, but your Lord is Almighty. Lay hold on that mighty arm, and rouse it to put forth its strength. Does your own case trouble you? Fear not, for His strength is sufficient for you. Whether to begin with others, or to carry on the work in you, Jesus is "mighty to save;" the best proof of which lies in the fact that He has saved you. What a thousand mercies that you have not found Him mighty to destroy!
