    In a 5-4 ruling, the Oklahoma Supreme Court has vacated a five-year protective order against street preacher Rich Penkoski, who used social media to express his moral concerns about a church that endorsed gay marriage and to expose a public drag queen performance in front of children.

  • In this past Sunday’s service at Hilltop Bible Church, l made an announcement that was both sad, but needful. After pastoring there for ten and a half years, l announced today that l was stepping down as pastor. It has been a great run at Hilltop. I loved the time serving there, pastoring a wonderful group of people. Not for one minute do l regret pastoring that church. It was a God blessed experience. The church, along with my wife and l, did a lot of neat things together, and accomplished a lot of ministry together. It was a heart breaking decision to make, but l am convinced that the time had come for me to step down. My wife and l did not just leave a church, we left a family that we have been a part of for over a decade. A friend of mine has agreed to fill in as preacher.
    I also discontinued doing Sunday services at the nearby nursing home. Been doing those for over two years.
    Last week, l agreed to being an interim pastor at St Paul’s Church in Craigsville Va. That church and l have agreed for me to serve on a trail basis of several months.
    Just want to thank all of you for your prayers over the years for Hilltop Bible Church. Keep that church in your prayers as they move on without me. Also, continue to pray for my wife and l as we make this next move in our lives. God bless.

    Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.

    Molech is the god who calls for the sacrifice of children. It is the spirit that controls the abortion industry, pedophilia, and most of Hollyweird.

    Molech is the god that the church has refused to preach against for the past 50 years, which also brought America to the point where murdering a baby en utero has been made legal.

    I hope the church does not think she will get away with not teaching the whole counsel of God. THIS RIGHT HERE is the reason we are under God's judgment this very second. Pastors, preachers, teachers, evangelists: start doing your job and cry out against this wickedness.

    Isaiah 58:1
    Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.

  • Tonight I'm mourning the loss of one of my social media "homes", a platform called GAB. For the past six years, I have posted there nearly every day. I have made a very good "in real life" friend through GAB, and she has been a blessing to my life. I have enjoyed the spiritual and political banter in which I have engaged. I have learned things I did not know, I have shared things I thought would help, and I have, most importantly, shared the Gospel with anyone who would receive it. I have stood for truth to the best of my ability and I have tried to glorify God with every word that I posted there. But it is looking more and more like my time there is coming to an end. AI is king over there, and I refuse to engage. The final straw for me was when it was announced that beginning in March 2024, the ability to post videos and images would go behind a paywall. While I am a supporter, it appears that my support is not enough and I will have to shell out more $$$ just to post a video of myself or my favorite preacher. I'm sad to read some of the hateful, anti-semitic comments posted by the founder, especially since he claims to belong to the LORD Jesus.
    So I have invited others who are mourning this loss to come over to Cre8aplace. I hope at least some of them will come. I know you guys will welcome them as warmly as you have welcomed me.

  • It really is a shame that this has happened in their church. When I was very young (over 60 years ago) we were Presbyterian. When I think of all the wonderful preachers and dedicated Christians, it is a travesty what is happening inside their church now.

  • 2 Peter
    Chapter 2

    1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

    2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

    3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

    4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

    5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

    6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;

    7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:

    8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)

    9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

    10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.

    11 Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.

    12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

    13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;

    14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:

    15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

    16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.

    17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.

    18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.

    19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

    20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

    21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

    22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

  • Silicon Valley’s Vision For A.I. Is Driven By A Perverted Need Of Religion, Immortality Without God Of The Bible

    Suppose I told you that in 10 years, the world as you know it will be over. You will live in a sort of paradise. You won’t get sick, or age, or die. Eternal life will be yours! Even better, your mind will be blissfully free of uncertainty — you’ll have access to perfect knowledge. Oh, and you’ll no longer be stuck on Earth. Instead, you can live up in the heavens. If I told you all this, would you assume that I was a religious preacher or an AI researcher? Either one would be a pretty solid guess. The more you listen to Silicon Valley’s discourse around AI, the more you hear echoes of religion. That’s because a lot of the excitement about building a superintelligent machine comes down to recycled religious ideas. Most secular technologists who are building AI just don’t recognize that. These technologists propose cheating death by uploading our minds to the cloud, where we can live digitally for all eternity. They talk about AI as a decision-making agent that can judge with mathematical certainty what’s optimal and what’s not. And they envision artificial general intelligence (AGI) — a hypothetical system that can match human problem-solving abilities across many domains — as an endeavor that guarantees human salvation if it goes well, even as it spells doom if it goes badly. These visions are almost identical to the visions of Christian eschatology, the branch of theology that deals with the “end times” or the final destiny of humanity. Christian eschatology tells us that we’re all headed toward the “four last things”: death, judgment, and heaven or hell. Although everyone who’s ever lived so far has died, we’ll be resurrected after the second coming of Christ to find out where we’ll live for all eternity. Our souls will face a final judgment, care of God, the perfect decision-maker. That will guarantee us heaven if it goes well, but hell if it goes badly. Five years ago, when I began attending conferences in Silicon Valley and first started to notice parallels like these between religion talk and AI talk

    1Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

    2For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

    3For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

    4For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

    5For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.

    6But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)

    7Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)

    8But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

    9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

    10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

    11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

    12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

    13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

    14How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

    15And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

    16But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

    17So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

    18But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

    19But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.

    20But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.

    21But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.

  • Psalm 6:1-3
    O LORD, rebuke me not in Thine anger, neither chasten me in Thy hot displeasure.
    Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.
    My soul is also sore vexed: but Thou, O LORD, how long?

    The commentator Matthew Henry says that David did what any child should do when he has a complaint: he went to his Father. He poured out his heart to God because of his physical affliction. He asked God for His mercy because his body was sick and probably in pain. He was the man after God's own heart, but he was still sick. He was the king, the one that God chose, but he was still sick. His soul was "sore vexed"....he was in a deep depression because of his sickness. The depression itself may have been more painful that the illness.

    The psalmist asked the LORD, how long? How long would he endure this pain, both physical and mental? How long would this season of life last? Many believers can relate to the psalmist's plight. We have physical sickness that plague our bodies. We are sometimes burdened with the cares of this life. Couple physical illnesses with the things going on around us, and we often cry out to the LORD, HOW LONG???

    Sometimes believers tend to think that just because they are believers that they should not experience any sickness or sadness. They think that becoming a Christian guarantees a life of ease. That is absolutely false, and if any preacher or teacher is leading you to believe that your life should be absent of problems and pain, they are not doctrinally correct, and you should stop listening to them immediately.
    John 16:33 says, "...In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." These bodies that we live in will break down, our minds will be troubled, our hearts will be broken, family and friends will betray us, marriages will break up, children will suffer, and we will always deal with the effects of sin.

    God knows. He cares. He understands. This life is filled with sickness, heartache, pain, sin, death and every other negative thing. The good thing about it is that this is not our home. One day, God is going to send Jesus back to take His people home to be with Him. We do not know when that time will be, but I think it is closer than we realize. Let that encourage your hearts! One day, we will no longer ask the LORD, "How long?"
