Heads up folks:) Scammers are trying to take full advantage of people being afraid that the SS#s have been hacked. Got a notice a few days ago that my info was on the dark web, 'unknown' phone numbers started showing up two days ago, today I answered one and it was someone claiming to be with Barclay Card services advising me my card had been used at Home Depot. Of course it hadn't. Put me on hold while he 'checked on it'...came back to assure me it had been used, gave me the FIRST five numbers of the card (which they never do if legit) and told me the money had already come out of my bank account with them. Said I was already on the computer checking my account and that I don't have a bank account with them...he hung up immediately. Heard from another friend that he has been getting email notices that he needs to contact a digital coin base but when he checks the emails, they aren't from there. Stay alert...

With a lot of help (thanks Duffner) I can (hopefully) post the pictures that I couldn't do the other day of the garlic harvest:) First is one of the drying racks, next is a regular bulb, and last is an elephant garlic bulb. Sure smells good around our place...no vampires in at least a 10 mile radius:)

The annual garlic harvest is in and drying:) Around 800 heads this year (can you tell it's my husband's favorite thing to grow????). I'd send some pics but every time I try it says the file is 'too big' and I'm not sure how to downsize it:(

Prayers for those in south TX in the path of the hurricane. My kids 'left town' for the duration this morning. They moved most of their stuff last night (they live in an RV), took the rest of their stuff this morning.

Praising God this morning for His Divine protection for my family. Here's one of many pictures of the destruction at the RV park in Port Lavaca where they have their home parked. Their rig was blown sideways about 4 feet but otherwise undamaged...their StarLink receiver on the ground was unmoved:) Daughter-in-law teaches just a short distance away, no sirens were sounded as apparently it formed very fast...when she got home she was greeted with missing and destroyed trailers and very relieved to find theirs and their 5 dogs safe. My son was on a job in LA but was able to get home yesterday long enough to move the trailer to a temporary location as only half the park has power. No pictures, sorry:) In honor of my hubby's Irish heritage we had a made from scratch Irish dinner today with Dublin Coddle for the main dish along with gluten free homemade Irish Soda Bread. Dessert was from a recipe from Laurie Neverman's mother when she was catering (CommonSenseHome.com)...chocolate pudding cake from scratch. It already has the pudding that makes itself while the cake bakes and nuts and I added cherries with a thickened sauce and whipped cream:) Looks like we have enough to celebrate again tomorrow....

Merry Christmas Eve day to y'all. The Lord sent me a special, special Christmas gift this year. I answered the doorbell Thursday afternoon thinking a neighbor needed some eggs...found my youngest son and his wife (whom I haven't seen in person for three years!) standing them smiling:) What a blessing!
