Okay, a little personal 'bragging' this morning:) I became a great granny for the first time late Saturday night:) Beautiful little girl in TX, Maelynn Renae. Milestone moment...but it sure makes me sound old....

Good morning:) I never think to take a picture until there are only crumbs left:( but y'all would have liked breakfast. We had homemade sourdough pancakes with local Amish butter and maple syrup and/or home canned garden huckleberry syrup...fresh eggs from the 'girls', and pastured bacon from Wild Pastures...it was quite good and the fur babies were disappointed that we left very little for them. If y'all don't have a good source for local pasture meats, check out wildpastures.com...they offer a great variety.

Heads up folks:) Scammers are trying to take full advantage of people being afraid that the SS#s have been hacked. Got a notice a few days ago that my info was on the dark web, 'unknown' phone numbers started showing up two days ago, today I answered one and it was someone claiming to be with Barclay Card services advising me my card had been used at Home Depot. Of course it hadn't. Put me on hold while he 'checked on it'...came back to assure me it had been used, gave me the FIRST five numbers of the card (which they never do if legit) and told me the money had already come out of my bank account with them. Said I was already on the computer checking my account and that I don't have a bank account with them...he hung up immediately. Heard from another friend that he has been getting email notices that he needs to contact a digital coin base but when he checks the emails, they aren't from there. Stay alert...

I saw a post on another site but it won't let me post it here so I will just type it in, it looks like it was on Truth Social: "Someday the King will return, He won't need to be elected, there will be no debates. With a lot of help (thanks Duffner) I can (hopefully) post the pictures that I couldn't do the other day of the garlic harvest:) First is one of the drying racks, next is a regular bulb, and last is an elephant garlic bulb. Sure smells good around our place...no vampires in at least a 10 mile radius:)

The annual garlic harvest is in and drying:) Around 800 heads this year (can you tell it's my husband's favorite thing to grow????). I'd send some pics but every time I try it says the file is 'too big' and I'm not sure how to downsize it:(

Thanks for prayer y'all....just got an update from my kids in Port Lavaca and all is well with their RV home:) Continued prayers please for those to the northeast as Beryl continues to dump 'stuff'....

Prayers for those in south TX in the path of the hurricane. My kids 'left town' for the duration this morning. They moved most of their stuff last night (they live in an RV), took the rest of their stuff this morning.
